Required products :

  • 200 grams of red lentils
  • 200 grams of bulgur
  • 1 medium onion head
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sweet red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • small bunch fresh parsley
  • olive oil

Method of preparation :

Wash the lentils, fill them with cold water (ratio 1: 4) and cook until ready (about 20 minutes).
Towards the end of cooking, add the bulgur. 2 minutes later minutes turn off the heat and let the mixture stand for 20 minutes, then drain the excess liquid.

Peel an onion, chop finely and fry in a little olive oil. Add the tomato puree and bring the pan to a boil.
