Required products :

  • 2 kilograms of pork ribs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tea glass of red wine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tea cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 can of tomato sauce (400 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 125 degrees.

Clean the ribs if needed and dry them.

Put them in a large rectangular pan and season them on both sides with salt and pepper.

Add about 1/2 teaspoon of water to the pan. Cover them with foil and bake for 2 hours.

Put the brown sugar, wine, vinegar, tomato sauce and tomato paste together with the allspice in the casserole.

Stew for 45 minutes until the sauce thickens and reduces. It should get very thick.

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the foil and drain the water from the pan. Increase the oven temperature to 180 degrees.

Brush the ribs well with the sauce and bake for 20-30 minutes.

Slice and serve.
