Learn how to cook "Rice balls with sesame, almonds and green onions". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
1.5 teaspoons rice (can brown)
2.5 teaspoons water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
5 tablespoons crushed almonds
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped green onions
Method of preparation :
Pour water over the rice and place on the stove. Let it boil over low heat with the lid closed, not stirring too often. Usually the rice is ready when it absorbs all the liquid.
Until this is done, chop the onion finely and grind the almonds using a blender.
In a large bowl, mix the rice with the onions, sesame seeds and almonds. Add salt to taste and let the combination "rest" for 10 minutes. Then you need to shape the balls and for this you will need a small cup or other similar suitable container and plastic wrap.
Cover the bottom and walls of the cup with foil so that the edges protrude enough. Spray with water and put the rice (tightly). Form a "bag" and remove the filling with it. Twist, tightening.
About 20 pieces are obtained, the exact amount depends on the size of the container you use.
