Required products :

  • 1 cup rice (round grain)
  • 300-350 grams of chicken fillet (or use other meat)
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2.5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (optional, if available)
  • 1 tomato or cucumber
  • favorite sauce

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the meat into small pieces, season them and pour 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Leave to marinate.

During this time, deal with the rice, which should be sticky. Boil it and leave it in the water.

Fry the fillet ready.

Combine the remaining soy sauce with the sugar and a pinch of salt, pour in the rice vinegar and place the bowl of liquid on the hob on low heat until the sweet crystals melt. Then pour the sauce over the rice and mix gently.

Spread the rice on a flat surface. Press it with a board to make a flat cake.

Cut it into several pieces. Spread them with your favorite sauce, on which you put the chicken pieces, sliced ​​vegetables - tomatoes or cucumbers, spread again with a little ketchup and cover with a second layer of rice.
