How To Cook Rice Cake With Spinach, Eggs And Cheese - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Rice cake with spinach, eggs and yellow cheese". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products:

 

  • 2 teaspoons rice
  • 1 head old onion
  • 1 bunch fresh onions
  • 2 stalks chopped mint
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 grams of grated yellow cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 grams of fresh spinach
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 5 teaspoons water or broth
  • 100 grams of breadcrumbs
  • olive oil for frying

 

 

Method of preparation:

 

Heat olive oil, fry both onions, rice and tomatoes. Wash, chop the spinach and add it to the vegetables. Season with mint, salt, pepper and pour the water.

Allow the mixture to simmer over low heat until the liquid is reduced and cool. After it cools completely, beat the eggs, add the yellow cheese and part of the breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the rest on a greased cake tin and pour the filling into it.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes. When ready, cool, cut and serve the rice cake. Optionally garnish with yogurt and fresh green spices.
