How To Cook Rice Meatballs With Coconut Milk And Hazelnuts - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Rice meatballs with coconut milk and hazelnuts". Delicious recipe.

We offer you another option for delicious meatballs, but made of rice. They are without any animal products, are easy to prepare, and the best part is that you can use the leftover rice that you cooked the day before. You can also add various spices to them, but not vegetables, as they would damage their integrity. Serve with sauce and salad.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of boiled basmati rice
  • 40 milliliters of oil
  • 150 milliliters of coconut milk
  • 40 grams of crushed hazelnuts
  • 1 hot green pepper, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation :

Turn the oven to 200 degrees.

Combine rice with coconut milk, hazelnuts and hot peppers, season generously with salt and pepper. Knead everything with your hands to combine the products. If the rice is cold enough, you will easily form a few medium-sized meatballs.

Heat olive oil in a pan and put 1 or 2 of the meatballs, fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned and firm.

Transfer them to a pan and continue cooking in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until they get a nice golden tan.

Serve the rice meatballs, but don't forget the sauce and fresh garnish - from fresh salad or roasted vegetables.
