Required products :

200 grams of rice

200 grams of pork

2 large tangerines

1 large tomato

200 grams of pumpkin

2 tablespoons butter

parsley to taste

spices to taste (dried basil, turmeric, salt, ground black pepper)

frying oil

Method of preparation :

Cut the meat into small pieces, pour into a pan, add the spices and fry until done in a little oil. Towards the end of cooking, pour in the mandarin juice and after a minute remove from the heat. You can also add a few pieces of the fruit itself.

Boil the rice in salted water. When ready, add the butter, spices and mix well. Cover the bottom of a suitable form with foil. Divide the rice into two parts. Mix one with the meat, tangerine sauce, parsley, stir and distribute in a bowl, press with a spoon.

Grate the pumpkin, fry it briefly, add salt and spread it on the rice layer. Here are the tomato rings that you have previously stewed briefly.

Finish the arrangement with the remaining rice.

Place the dish in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.

Leave the finished terrine to rest for about 20 minutes, then turn over on a suitable dish, remove the foil, sprinkle with chopped parsley and decorate with a pumpkin or carrot Christmas tree, for example.

Enjoy your meal!
