How To Cook Rice With Butter, White Wine And Parmesan - Recipe

Required products :

  • 450 milliliters of broth (chicken)
  • 1 teaspoon carrot juice
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 40 grams of butter
  • 1/2 head old onion
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon long grain rice
  • 1/4 tea glass of dry white wine
  • 50 grams of parmesan (grated)
  • 50 grams of parsley (chopped)

 

Method of preparation :

In a medium saucepan, mix the chicken broth, carrot juice and water. Put on the stove to boil the liquid.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan and fry the onion in it for 5 minutes until soft. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, increase the heat, pour the rice into the pan and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then pour the wine, cook for two minutes until absorbed by the grains.

Pour 1/2 teaspoon of the hot broth, stir with a wooden spoon and continue to add the liquid until the rice is completely ready (it takes 25-30 minutes).

Mix it with the remaining butter, add grated Parmesan, season to taste and stir.

The dish is served sprinkled with parmesan and parsley.
