Required products :

  • 150 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 400 grams of smoked cod fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cm grated ginger root
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon curry
  • 250 grams of long grain rice
  • 1 cube of vegetable broth dissolved in 350 ml. water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

Method of preparation :

Put the milk and 100 milliliters of water in the saucepan to boil. Add the fillets (skin side down) and simmer for 5 minutes.

In another pan, heat olive oil and fry the onion, ginger, garlic, coriander, turmeric and curry for 5 minutes until the onion is soft. Add the rice and stir. Pour the broth and cover with a lid, simmer until tender (about 12 minutes).

Meanwhile, boil the eggs and peel them.

Remove the fish from the milk and remove the skin of the fillets, save the liquid.

After 12 minutes of cooking the rice, remove the lid and pour the liquid in which the fish has been soaked into the rice. Continue to cook for another 5-6 minutes, until ready.

Remove from the heat, add the fish fillets, eggs and sprinkle with parsley.
