Required products :

  • 700 grams of frozen mix of seafood
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tea cups long grain rice
  • 1.5 teaspoons frozen vegetables
  • 200 grams of canned tomatoes (chopped)
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon saffron (threads)
  • suitable spices

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the rice, drain the water with a colander and fry the beans for a minute in 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Then pour 3 teaspoons of boiling water, reduce the heat to a minimum, close the jar with a lid and leave until the rice is ready.

Thaw the vegetables, wash the sea mix, drain the liquid.

Put the saffron in a small bowl and pour 1/3 tea cup of boiling water, leave under a lid for 15 minutes and strain.

In a deep frying pan, heat the remaining olive oil and fry in it until golden onions and garlic, season, pour the saffron water and wait for it to boil. Then add the chopped canned tomatoes, thawed vegetables and stew everything for 2 minutes without closing the container.

Then pour the seafood into the pan and a minute later the rice.

Reduce heat and cook for another 2 minutes (without lid)
