How To Cook Roast Chicken With Butter, Lemon And Herbs - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Roast chicken with butter, lemon and herbs". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 whole chicken / about 3-4 kilograms /
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Italian spice
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 lemon, well washed and halved

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cover the bottom and walls of the pan with aluminum foil. Place a baking tray.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper both inside and out.
  • In a small bowl, mix the Italian spice with the butter and mix well.
  • Rub half of the mixture under the skin of the chicken and the other half on it.
  • Place the lemon halves in the cavity and transfer the chicken to the rack in the pan.
  • Bake for about 1 1/2 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices and serve.
