Necessary products:

  • 1 chicken (about 1.2-1.5 kg)
  • 12-14 pitted prunes
  • a handful of raisins
  • 4 sweet green peppers
  • 2 onions (large)
  • 6-7 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (maybe without it)
  • baking oil
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation:

Wash and soak prunes and raisins for 10 minutes. Cut the chicken into portions, salt and fry in a little fat. Remove to a plate. 

Finely chop the onion and fry in the fat left over from the chicken. Cut the peppers into circles, finely chop the garlic, put them in a separate pan, pour a little water and stew for 5-6 minutes. Mix onion, peppers, garlic and leave on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring. Then place the chicken pieces on them and a mixture of prunes, raisins, sugar and vinegar on the chicken (you can cut the plums if you wish). Leave in the pan until the meat is fully cooked. The time depends on the size of the pieces on which you cut the chicken.
