How To Cook Roast Chicken With Wheat, Prunes And Chestnuts - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Roast chicken with wheat, prunes and chestnuts". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products:

1 whole chicken

1 teaspoon wheat

10 chestnuts

10 prunes

2 cinnamon sticks

1 onion

1 carrot

5 cloves garlic

To spread the chicken:

salt, red and black pepper

olive oil

soy sauce

pomegranate sauce

honey

Method of preparation:

First make the filling. Wash the wheat and fill it with water, the level of which should be 2-3 cm above the wheat. Put to boil on low heat until done. During cooking, monitor the amount of water and if it evaporates, pour more.

Deal with chestnuts. There are several ways to clean. One of them is to make a cross-section on their surface and put them in the oven for 10-15 minutes. You can see the result in the photo.

Take a pan and fry the chopped onion, garlic and carrot in it. Add the prepared wheat, peeled chestnuts, prunes, cinnamon, salt and pepper to taste. Fry everything for a few minutes and let the stuffing cool.

When this happens, stuff the chicken. Tie his feet and smear the surface with a mixture of olive oil, soy sauce, pomegranate sauce, honey, black pepper and sweet red pepper. If desired, you can add a little coarse salt.

After spreading the chicken, put it in the oven (on the grill) to bake at 200 degrees. Initially, let it bake with the breasts down for 40 minutes, watering it periodically with the sauce that separates. Then turn and bake for another 20-30 minutes.

Finally, you can use a thermometer and when the chest temperature reaches 85 degrees, remove from the oven. The chicken will be juicy and at the same time absolutely ready.

Enjoy your meal!
