Required products :

  • 3 kilograms of lamb (with bone)
  • 150 milliliters of cognac
  • 5 heads of garlic
  • 2 teaspoons a mixture of spices suitable for this type of meat (or use a ready mix)
  • olive oil

 

Method of preparation :

Peel a clove of garlic, cut it into cloves and fry briefly until it changes color. Then take them out of the pan and leave for the moment.

Cut the lamb into pieces of 100-150 grams each and place them in the bowl in which you prepared the garlic. Fry them (in several parts) until a crust forms on the surface.

Then transfer the meat to a deep pan and pour the cognac. Put on medium heat. Once the alcohol is ignited, add the spices, stir and add the garlic. Do not stir this time. Cover the dish with foil and place the dish in the oven. It should be cooked for about 2 hours at 160 degrees.
