Required products :

  • 2 kg of lamb leg
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 8 sprigs of rosemary, about 3 inches each
  • 8 sprigs of oregano, about 3 centimeters each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 250 milliliters of vegetable broth
  • 125 milliliters of dry white wine
  • 480 grams of onions, small heads
  • 500 grams of sliced ​​potatoes
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

For the mint sauce :

  • 1 bunch fresh mint, only the leaves
  • 1 green onion, leaves only
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 125 milliliters of apple cider vinegar

Method of preparation :

  • Make 8 deep cuts in the lamb leg and put garlic, rosemary and oregano in each of them.
  • Transfer the leg of lamb to a large pan and sprinkle with olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and add the broth and white wine.
  • Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 30 minutes.
