How To Cook Roast Pork With Dried Apricots And White Wine - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Roast pork with dried apricots and white wine". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 kg of pork (whole piece)
  • 150 grams of dried apricots
  • 100 milliliters of dry white wine
  • ginger and other spices to taste
  • a thin piece of bacon

Method of preparation :

Pour the dried apricots with white wine for three hours.

Make incisions in the piece of meat, you will distribute the stuffing in them.

Rub the pork with salt and pepper, put the apricots in the holes you made. Sprinkle with grated ginger.

Tie the meat together with the bacon and place for 10 minutes in the oven at maximum temperature.

Then reduce the temperature to 170 and bake for 40-50 minutes. In the middle of cooking, pour the separated juice over the pork.

If you want to get an appetizing reddish-brown crust, glaze the meat. To do this, when it is almost done, take it out of the oven and remove all the fat. Pour a glass of wine (or water with lemon / orange juice), roll the meat in the liquid and return the dish to the oven. Frequently pour the sauce over the pork until it is cooked through.

Have a good time!
