Required products :

1 head of beets

10 prunes

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

5 nuts

 

Method of preparation :

Peel a beet, place it in a plastic bag and bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes (depending on the size of the head) at 180 degrees. When cool, grate on a medium grater.

Wash and dry the fruit, cut them into small cubes and fry lightly in vegetable oil (about 3 minutes) over medium heat, stirring.

Add the grated beets to the prunes and leave the combination on the hob until the excess liquid has evaporated (stirring constantly).

Finally add the ground walnuts and turn off the heat.

When the salad has cooled, transfer to a salad bowl and serve.

In this form you can serve as a dessert.

If you add garlic and green spices, you will get a spicy appetizer or original side dish to the meat or chicken.
