Required products :

1 carp weighing about 2.5 kilograms
1 large carrot
2 leeks
2 fennel (fennel)
1 hot pepper
500 grams of ketchup or sweet and sour sauce of your choice, you can use homemade tomato sauce

Method of preparation :

Cut carrots into straws.

Leek in the same way.

Chop the wild dill (use both the heads and the leaves).

Peel a squash, grate it and chop finely.

Mix the vegetables in a suitable bowl and add the sauce.

Mix everything and distribute 2/3 in a tray that you have previously covered with two layers of foil (let it be enough to be able to wrap the fish afterwards).

Clean the carp and make incisions on the surface. Put salt in them and rub the fish inside and out with salt as well.

Put on the vegetable layer and fill with the remaining amount of carrots, onions, dill and pepper, setting aside a little to cover the fish.

Wrap in foil and let the fish stand for 60-80 minutes in the cold.

Then bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees until done (about 80 minutes).

Periodically water the carp with the juice that is released in the foil during baking.

Enjoy your meal!
