Required products :

  • 200 grams of goat cheese
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • a pinch of cayenne pepper

For the sauce:

  • nuts of 12 walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons honey (liquid)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, thyme and parsley

Method of preparation :

Grate the goat cheese (if hard) or mash with a fork (if soft). Add the cream, a pinch of cayenne pepper, stir and leave in a cool place.

Make the sauce.

Pour the sugar into a dry pan and heat. The crystals will caramelize, during which time you must stir.

Then add the coarsely chopped nuts to the caramel and heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour the walnuts on parchment paper, wait for them to cool and separate them, because they will stick together.

Mix honey and fresh herbs, leave in the heat to liquefy the bee sweetness more.

Put the cheese in a suitable fireproof dish and place in the oven (preheat it to 220 degrees) for 20-25 minutes, a golden crust will form.

Then remove from the oven, pour the dish with honey sauce, sprinkle with caramelized walnuts and serve immediately.

Enjoy your meal!
