Required products :

  • 1 kg of green beans
  • 250 grams of mushrooms
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tea cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tea glass of dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cream
  • grated parmesan
  • 2 teaspoons Worcester sauce
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs

for onions:

  • 4 onions
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • oil

Method of preparation :

Cut the onion into rings. Roll them in flour and fry them in an oil bath for about 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper and season with salt and pepper.

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Boil the green beans in salted water for about 4-5 minutes. Transfer it to water with ice cubes to cool it as quickly as possible, this way you will keep its fresh green color. Drain and dry.

Stew the mushrooms and half an onion in a little olive oil for about 10 minutes until browned. Add the flour, stir, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Carefully pour the wine, stirring to dissolve the flour in it. A minute later add the cream, and after 3-4 minutes, when the sauce begins to boil, remove from heat and add 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese and Worcestershire sauce.

Dip green beans in sauce and stir. Pour into a suitable pan and sprinkle with more parmesan and breadcrumbs. Finally, add the fried onions and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the dish acquires a golden and crispy crust.
