Necessary products:

  • 2 mackerel
  • 1 medium onion head
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 sec. l. mayonnaise or sour cream
  • salt and spices for fish to taste

Method of preparation:

You can use fresh or frozen fish. Thaw, if frozen, remove head, clean. Rub inside and out with salt and spices, leave in a cool place for 20-30 minutes. Then cut the mackerel into portions, but do not cut the fish completely, just make incisions on it. Put onion semicircles in them and arrange lemon circles on the lower part. Spread the fish on top with cream or mayonnaise, you can sprinkle with appropriate spices. Put in a pan covered with two layers of foil and bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees until a beautiful golden color (about 25 - 30 minutes).
