How To Cook Roasted Meatballs With Rosemary And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 450 grams of minced beef
  • 450 grams of minced pork
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcester sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4-5 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 6 raw garlic cloves
  • 1-2 tablespoons oil

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a rectangular baking dish.
  • Divide the garlic head into cloves, arrange them on aluminum foil and sprinkle with olive oil.
  • Close the foil so that it forms a package and roast the garlic for 20-25 minutes until soft.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and pork, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, rosemary and sauce.
  • Knead the minced meat and season it with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Peel the roasted garlic cloves, chop finely and add them to the mixture. Knead again briefly.
  • Form meatballs and arrange them tightly next to each other in the dish.
  • Spread the raw garlic cloves between them and the rosemary sprigs on top.
  • Sprinkle with 1-2 tablespoons of oil and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake the meatballs in a preheated 180 degree oven for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve them warm, garnished with your choice.
