How To Cook Roasted Onions Stuffed With Ham, Parmesan And Cream - Recipe

Required products :

  • 6 medium-sized garlic cloves
  • 1 clove of garlic, pressed
  • 2 tablespoons ham, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan, finely grated
  • 150 milliliters of cream

Method of preparation :

  • Heat salted water in a large saucepan over high heat until boiling.
  • Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut small caps on both sides.
  • Pierce with a toothpick on both sides and cook for 30 minutes until soft.
  • Allow it to cool and keep 1/2 cup of the water.
  • Carefully remove the toothpicks, halve the onion and arrange it in a greased pan with the cut part facing up.
  • Carefully remove the core and cut it into small pieces. Transfer it to a large bowl.
  • Add the garlic, ham, parsley and breadcrumbs. Stir and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Distribute the filling in the onion cups without worrying that you will overfill them.
  • In a small bowl, mix the parmesan and cream and spread them over the filling.
  • Pour the preserved water into the bottom of the pan and fry the onions for 20 minutes until golden.
  • Submit it immediately.
