How To Cook Roasted Pears In Pomegranate Sauce With Cinnamon - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 1/2 tea cups unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 cloves
  • 4 pears, peeled, halved and cleaned of seeds
  • 1/2 tea cup of pomegranate seeds

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare a rectangular pan measuring approximately 23/33 centimeters.
  • Heat the pomegranate juice and sugar in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves. Stir.
  • Arrange the pears in the pan with the cut side down.
  • Drizzle with pomegranate syrup and bake for 40-45 minutes until softened.
  • Arrange them on a plate, pour the sauce and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
  • Serve the baked pears warm, cold or at room temperature, garnished with cinnamon sticks.
