How To Cook Roasted Peppers In Tomato Sauce With Garlic And Onion - Recipe

Required products :

1-1.5 kg of sweet roast peppers
500 grams of tomatoes
1 tablespoon sugar
3 cloves garlic
3 onions
spices of your choice and to taste
oil

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the peppers, dry them, grease with oil and arrange in a pan. Bake in a preheated oven until done, turning periodically on all sides.

Leave the prepared peppers to cool without removing them from the bowl. Meanwhile, make the sauce.

Peel an onion, chop it and fry in oil. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and add them to the onion. Let them simmer together for a while, then pour a little water and put the finely chopped garlic cloves. Season to taste and add sugar.
The sauce is ready.

Peel the peppers and put them in a deep bowl. Drizzle with hot tomato liquid and wait for the dish to cool. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
