Required products :

  • 1 tolstolob
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 onion (large)
  • 50 grams of thyme
  • 100 milliliters of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

 

Method of preparation :

Clean the fish (entrails and scales), but do not remove the head.

 

Cut onions into semicircles.

 

Fry it until golden in olive oil.

 

Add half of the fresh thyme leaves and after a minute remove the pan from the heat.

 

Season the fish with salt and ground black pepper. Then fill it with a combination of thyme and onion.

 

Cut half a lemon into small pieces, which you also put in the cod. Cover the fish with thyme sprigs.

 

Sprinkle the surface of the fish with the juice of the remaining citrus, pour a little olive oil over it.

 

 

Bake for 20 minutes at an oven temperature of 190 degrees.
