How To Cook Roasted Tabbouleh Salad With Bulgur, Cherry Tomatoes And Chickpeas - Recipe

Required products :

  • 600 grams of cherry tomatoes
  • 60 milliliters of olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 240 grams of bulgur
  • 1 medium-sized head of old onion
  • 450 grams of chickpeas (pre-cooked or canned)
  • connection coarsely chopped parsley
  • lemon juice


Method of preparation :

Bake the cherry tomatoes with 5 tablespoons of olive oil in the oven on medium heat at 220 degrees until soft (30-40 minutes).

In a separate pan, spread an even layer of bulgur and bake until golden (15-20 minutes), stirring after 10 minutes.

Transfer the bulgur to the pan.

Mix the thinly sliced ​​onion with the tomatoes, stir and season. Bake until the onion softens and acquires a golden color (it takes about 20 minutes, stirring in the middle of the heat treatment).

Meanwhile, prepare the bulgur according to the instructions on the package. Season and mix with chickpeas. Add parsley, tomatoes, onions, pour a tablespoon of olive oil and lemon juice to taste.
