How To Cook Roasted Tomatoes With Eggs And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 large hard tomatoes
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • thyme, oregano or other spice of your choice
  • olive oil
  • hot red pepper to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • grated yellow cheese for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

Wash the tomatoes, cut off the top and carefully remove the inside, taking care not to damage the walls. Add salt and turn them over to drain off excess liquid. Then grease the "cups" with olive oil (or oil), sprinkle with thyme, oregano, paprika and / or other spices you prefer. Add a little garlic (chopped or mashed). Arrange the tomatoes in a pan and beat 1 egg in each, making sure the yolks remain whole. Place in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 7-10 minutes. 3-4 minutes before removing, sprinkle with yellow cheese and return to the oven.
