Learn how to cook "Roll of minced meat with pesto sauce, sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 kg of minced meat of your choice
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tea cup of arugula or other pesto
  • 1/4 tea cup dried tomatoes
  • 100 grams of mozzarella or other similar cheese
  • 50 grams of butter (if the minced meat is greasy enough, you may not use butter)
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few drops of hot sauce - optional
  • 1-2 tablespoons butter if desired

Method of preparation :

Turn on the oven to preheat to 180-190 degrees.

In a suitable bowl, lightly beat the egg, add the minced meat, season with salt and ground black pepper to taste and knead.

Grease the bottom of the pan with oil, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and put a layer of half the minced meat. In the middle (lengthwise) distribute the pesto sauce, sun-dried tomatoes and put a piece of mozzarella on top.

Cover everything with a layer of the remaining minced meat and flatten, forming a roll. If you use turkey or minced chicken, put a few pieces of butter on the surface.

Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until a golden coating forms.
Wait 5 minutes before removing from the oven and serve the roll with the sauce released during baking.

Enjoy your meal!
