How To Cook Rustic Katmi With Fresh Milk, Egg And Butter - Recipe

Required products :

350 grams of flour
30 grams of butter
3 tablespoons oil
3 teaspoons warm milk
8 grams of dry yeast or 20 grams of fresh
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg

Method of preparation :

Put the yeast in a small bowl, add 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour and pour half a teaspoon of warm milk.

 

If the yeast is of good quality, after 5-10 minutes you will get such a "hat".

 

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and the remaining sugar. Pour in the melted (but not hot) butter, yeast, half the flour and half the milk.

 

Mix the products and gradually add the remaining amounts of milk and flour. You may need to use a little more flour than indicated, consider this at the time of preparation.

 

The finished dough, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place to rise three times.

 

Then bake katmi from it in a greased pan or use a sach, if you have one.

 

While still warm, grease with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
