Required products :

  • 250 grams of white flour
  • 150 grams of rye flour
  • 300 milliliters of water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 packet of yeast

Method of preparation :

Dissolve honey in warm water, add yeast and both types of flour. Knead the dough and let it "rest" for a while. After 15 minutes, add the salt and knead once more. Place in a bowl greased with oil, cover with foil and leave for several hours.

When it rises, roll it out, sprinkle with a little flour (the dough becomes sticky). Then cut out circles using a cup or other round dish. Arrange them in a greased pan, cover with a plastic bag and leave for another 20 minutes. During this time, the loaves will increase in volume and their surface will crack. Make indentations with your fingers or a wooden spoon and place the pan in a preheated 200 degree oven for 25 minutes.
