Required products :
10 eggs
150 grams walnuts
1 2/3 tea cups powdered sugar
1/2 tea cup crushed rye rusks
50 grams grated chocolate
1 teaspoon cinnamon
lemon sauce and peel of 1 citrus
5-6 grains cloves
apricot (or cherry) jam for spreading
Method of preparation :
Make rusks by baking rye slices of bread in the oven. When cooled, grind with a blender (or coffee grinder) to obtain fine crumbs. Grind the walnuts, it is better to feel the pieces of them.
Clove beans also grind, for this purpose the coffee grinder will do a perfect job. Grate the chocolate.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and half of the powdered sugar until stiff.
Mix the yolks with the remaining sugar and beat until they turn white and the consistency becomes creamy.
Pour them into the dry mixture. Add the grated lemon peel and pour the citrus juice.
Finally, add the egg whites thoroughly. The dough is ready, distribute it in a suitable form, the bottom of which you have covered with a greased sheet of parchment.
Bake the marshmallows in a preheated 150-160 degree oven for about 40 minutes.
Smear the surface with apricot, cherry or other jam with a slight sour taste, decorate with walnuts.
You can prepare a favorite cream to cover the cake.
