Required products :

  • 3-4 salmon fillets
  • 1 lemon
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

  • Fill a large tray with water and immerse the cedar board, pressing it with a heavy object on top so that it does not float. It must soak for at least 2 hours before baking.
  • Turn on the grill or light a barbecue outdoors. Do not bake on a cedar board at home!
  • Once the board is soaked, take it out of the pan and arrange the fillets on it.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, then spread the garlic and fresh dill on top.
  • Cut the lemon in half. Squeeze one half on the fillets and cut the other into slices and arrange on them.
  • Place the cedar board with the salmon on the grill and let it bake for 15 minutes. If the fillets are thicker, increase the heat.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
