How To Cook Salmon In A Pan With Potatoes, Onions And Fresh Herbs - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 kg of potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces about 1.5 centimeters in size
  • 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 stalks of celery, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tea cups pieces of cooked salmon fillet
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

Method of preparation :

  • Melt the butter in a large pan with a non-stick coating over medium heat.
  • Saute onions and potatoes for 1 minute, enough to cover with butter.
  • Cover and cook under a lid for about 7 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
  • Add the celery, stir briefly, cover again and cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Remove the lid, increase the power of the hob to medium high.
  • Add the dill, thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring often, until the potatoes are lightly browned.
  • Add the salmon and parsley, stir and leave on the stove until the fish fillet is warm.
  • Serve the dish hot, garnished with your favorite sauce.
