How To Cook Salmon With Bacon And Maple Syrup - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 salmon fillet (about 700 grams)
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons mixed spice of black pepper and Himalayan salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 tea cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

for bacon:

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 thin slices of bacon

 

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Put the lemon slices in a pan and place the fish fillet on top. Season with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, mix the mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, maple syrup and mix the spice. Pour this mixture over the fish.

Roast the salmon for 20-25 minutes.

Meanwhile, place the bacon in a pan. Stir in the maple syrup and brown sugar and pour over the bacon. Fry until crispy.

Cut the bacon, sprinkle the fish with it, pour the sauce from the hot plate and bake for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce caramelizes.

Serve with fresh salad.
