Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup grated cheddar
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped ham
  • 1 tablespoon thyme + more to sprinkle
  • 1 teaspoon + tablespoon sour cream - cold

Method of preparation :

Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees while you cook the biscuits. Line a shallow tray with paper.

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking powder, add black pepper.

Put the butter and rub it into the flour with your fingers to get crumbs.

You should add thyme, cheese and ham. Pour 1 cup of cream to knead a crumbly dough - it should form after pressing it with your hands. Form a large ball with a diameter of 16 centimeters.

Use a sharp knife to cut into 8 triangles. Transfer them to the pan.

Spread with the remaining cream and sprinkle with thyme and pepper.

Bake until the conson biscuits are browned - about 18-22 minutes.
