Required products :

250 grams of flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
100 grams butter
100 grams cheese
7-8 tablespoons fresh milk
1-2 tablespoons thyme
salt to taste
1 egg to spread
sesame seeds to sprinkle as desired

Method of preparation :

Mix the flour with the baking powder, sugar and salt to taste (adjust the salinity of the cheese). Add the diced butter, pour in the milk and knead a stiff dough.


Mash the cheese with a fork and add to the dough together with the thyme (you can replace it with rosemary or oregano).


Roll out the dough thinly (the thickness of the layer should be about 5 mm). Cut circles up to 6 cm in diameter with a suitable shape (this can be a small cup or a cake tin).
Arrange them in a tray, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment, leaving some space between them.


Spread the surface of the pickles with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds, thyme or anything else of your choice.

 

Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 10 minutes, until the surface turns golden brown.
