Required products :

  • 300 grams of smoked salmon, chopped in bulk
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tea cups of potatoes, boiled and grated
  • 2 carrots, boiled and grated
  • 2 heads of beets, boiled and grated
  • 2 eggs, hard boiled and grated
  • 8 tablespoons mayonnaise

For garnish :

  • several strips of smoked salmon
  • fresh parsley

Method of preparation:

  • In a large saucepan, cook the carrots, potatoes and beets.
  • Boil the eggs in a separate bowl.
  • Allow them to cool completely before peeling and grating.
  • To assemble the cake, use a round shape with a removable bottom.
  • First row - chopped smoked salmon.
  • Second row - chopped onion.
  • Third row - grated potatoes + 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, evenly distributed on them.
  • Fourth row - grated eggs + 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, distributed evenly over them.
  • Fifth row - grated carrots + 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, distributed evenly over them.
  • Sixth row - grated beets + 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, evenly distributed on it.
  • Carefully remove the form.
  • Form a rose from the strips of smoked salmon, garnish with parsley and serve.
