How To Cook Salty Strudel From Puff Pastry With Bacon, Spinach And Cheese - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Salty puff pastry strudel with bacon, spinach and yellow cheese". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 12 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 500 grams of bacon
  • 150 grams of baby spinach
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 cup finely grated yellow cheese
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped tomatoes (fresh or canned), peeled and peeled
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 350 grams of thawed puff pastry

Method of preparation :

In a large bowl, beat 11 eggs and mix until smooth with the mayonnaise. Leave the combination for the moment.

Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy, then take it out on paper to absorb the unnecessary fat.

Put the spinach and garlic in the same pan, fry them over medium heat for 1-2 minutes (stir), then add the eggs with the mayonnaise and cook the mixture until the eggs are firm but not ready.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the yellow cheese, tomatoes and bacon to the contents, transfer the combination to a bowl and leave for about half an hour to cool.

Turn the oven to 200 degrees, cover the bottom of the pan with a sheet of parchment.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface, you need to make two rectangles measuring 25x30 centimeters.

Spread 1/2 of the filling on one, leaving three centimeters uncovered at the edges of the dough. Roll up a roll and put it in the pan. Do the same with the remaining puff pastry rectangle and filling.

In a small bowl, beat the last egg and spread it on the strudels. Bake them in the already hot oven. When a crispy golden crust forms (this takes about 30 minutes), remove and serve.

Enjoy your meal!
