How To Cook Salty Strudel Stuffed With Bacon, Onion And Cheese - Recipe

Necessary products

For the dough:

500 grams of flour
250 milliliters of warm milk
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
50 grams butter
2 eggs

 

For the stuffing:

150 grams of bacon
1 medium onion
100 grams of yellow cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

 

Method of preparation :

Pour the warm milk into a large bowl and dissolve the yeast in it. Add the eggs, salt, sugar, butter and flour. Knead an elastic dough and leave it to rise in a warm place.

Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry it until golden in a hot pan, then add the finely chopped onion and a few minutes later the parsley. Mix everything and turn off the stove.

Grate the yellow cheese with a coarse grater.

Turn on the oven to preheat (180 degrees).
Roll out the risen dough, forming a rectangular layer measuring 10 x 30 centimeters. Spread the filling on the surface, sprinkle with grated cheese and roll up. Put it in the right shape. You can spread with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Leave the roll to rise (about 20 minutes), then bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes.

Serve warm.
