How To Cook Sandwich With Chicken And Milk Sauce With Vegetables - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 5 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh oregano (or 1 teaspoon dry)
  • 2 3/4 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 500 grams of chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 cucumber - 1 grated and half cut into thin slices
  • 3/4 tea cup yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh mint
  • 2 teaspoons chopped dill
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 Arabic pita bread
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • a few thin slices of red onion
  • 1 tomato, cut into slices

Method of preparation :

Combine lemon peel and juice, add to them 3 teaspoons of olive oil, oregano, 2 teaspoons of garlic and hot pepper flakes. Season the chicken with this mixture and leave it to marinate for 1 to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Season the grated cucumber with salt, leave for 15 minutes, then squeeze the water out of it. Put it in a bowl, add yogurt, mint, dill, pepper and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add an incomplete spoonful of garlic and salt. Refrigerate.

Heat a grill pan or grill and roast the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on the side until done.

Cut the Arabian pita bread in half, and put some of the milk sauce in each, then fill them with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and cucumber.
