How To Cook Sandwiches With Sorrel, Cottage Cheese, Yellow Cheese And Garlic - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Sandwiches with sorrel, cottage cheese, yellow cheese and garlic". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of puff pastry
  • 1 large bunch of sorrel
  • 250 grams of cottage cheese with a fat content of 9%
  • 3 tablespoons grated cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method of preparation :

Pre-thaw the puff pastry, turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

When the dough thaws, roll it out (the layer should be about 3-4 millimeters thick), the movements being from the center to the end of the sheet in one direction. Then cut into squares with a side length of 8 centimeters.

Remove the sorrel stems and cut the leaves. Peel a clove of garlic and crush or chop finely.

Add one egg to the curd, season with salt and pepper, add yellow cheese, sorrel and garlic. Mix the products and the filling is ready.

In the middle of each square of dough put a little of it, moisten the edges with water, cover with a second square and pinch the two sheets of dough. Prepare the remaining sandwiches in this way.

Arrange them in a tray on a sheet of parchment and smear their surface with the second egg, of course with 1 tablespoon of water. Bake in the preheated oven until golden (this will take about 20 minutes).

Serve slightly chilled.

Have a good time!
