How To Cook Sea Snails In White Wine With Parsley And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 kg of sea snails (with shells)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • a few sprigs of parsley
  • 3 - 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry white wine
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Pour the snails into a colander and wash them well under running water, shaking vigorously. Then put in a saucepan with boiling salted water and let cook for 20 - 25 minutes. The water should completely cover the snails. When cooked, use a toothpick to remove the flesh.

Fry the garlic in olive oil, add the snails, season with spices.

Pour the wine and let the dish simmer for 5 minutes. Finally, add the chopped parsley and turn off the heat.

 

Serve hot.
