Mix semolina with sugar and salt, stir.
Dice candied fruit of your choice, in this case we use pineapple.
Bring the milk to a boil. When it boils, start stirring constantly with a wooden spoon and add the dry mixture gradually and little by little.
Cook for a few more minutes, then turn off the heat, remove the pan from it and add the pieces of fruit to the mash. Mix well and close the pot with a lid for 5 minutes. Serve with butter.
