How To Cook Shortbread Cake With Almonds, Dried Fruits And Rum - Recipe

Necessary products:

  • 180 grams of butter
  • 180 grams of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lemon (only the peel will be needed)
  • 180 grams of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • prunes
  • raisins
  • almonds
  • grated chocolate for sprinkling

 

Method of preparation:

Melt the butter in a water bath, add the sugar and egg yolks. Beat the egg whites separately, add the grated lemon peel and a teaspoon of rum, also some prunes and raisins. Do not combine the two mixtures. Then sift the flour and pour it into the combination of sugar, egg yolks and butter. Stir well. Put the resulting dough in a baking dish, pour the egg whites with the fruit on top and bake for about 40 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished cake with grated chocolate and almonds.
