Learn how to cook "Shortbread cookies with cinnamon and nuts". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
150-160 grams of flour
140 grams of sugar
100 grams of butter
25-30 grams of corn starch
3 egg yolks (2 for the dough and 1 for spreading)
100-120 grams of nuts of your choice (50 grams for the dough and the rest for sprinkling)
6 grams of
cinnamon baking powder and vanilla to taste a
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon cold water
Method of preparation :
Sift the flour together with the baking powder, starch and a pinch of salt, then add the ground nuts, cinnamon and vanilla to the dry mixture.
Mix the two yolks with the sugar and add the softened butter.
Combine the two combinations, kneading a soft dough. If it gets very dry, pour a spoonful of cold water.
Shape the dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
When you take it out, knead it on a plate, generously sprinkled with flour. Then roll out a not too thin layer, from which cut circles with a cup. Use another one with a smaller diameter to cut holes in the middle.
Spread the surface of the dough with the beaten third yolk and dip this part in the crushed nuts set for sprinkling (press them lightly against the base).
Arrange the cookies in a pan, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment, and bake them in a preheated oven to 180 degrees until golden (about 15-18 minutes).
