Learn how to cook "Shortbread cookies with your favorite jam". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
150 grams of thick jam or marmalade
350 grams of flour
130 grams of butter
100 grams of sugar
1 egg + 1 yolk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 teaspoon salt
Method of preparation :
Cut the cold butter into small pieces. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder, add the butter and cut everything together to make crumbs.
Add sugar, beaten egg and yolk. Stir to obtain a homogeneous dough, which you form as several "sausages" with a diameter of 5-6 centimeters. Wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Cover the bottom of two trays with parchment.
Using a hot wet knife, cut the rolls into 2 cm thick circles and arrange them in the prepared dishes.
In the middle of each make a dent with your finger and put a little of your favorite jam.
Bake the cookies until golden in a preheated oven (about 25 minutes).
Submit them chilled.
