How To Cook Snow Cookies With Walnuts, Butter And Cocoa - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 2/3 tea cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon roasted walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1/3 tea cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 230 grams of oil at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method of preparation :

  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, walnuts, cocoa, cinnamon and salt. Stir and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and 1/2 teaspoon of powdered sugar with a mixer for 3 minutes.
  • Add the vanilla extract and stir briefly.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients and knead a smooth dough.
  • Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cover two pans with baking paper.
  • Pour the remaining powdered sugar into a large bowl.
  • Shape the cakes using 1 tablespoon of the mixture and distribute them in the trays at a distance of at least 3 centimeters.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes and remove from the oven.
  • Allow the walnut cakes to cool for about 10 minutes and roll them in powdered sugar.
  • Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again.
