  • 1.6 liters water or broth (or 50:50)
  • 300 grams of minced meat mixture
  • 100 grams of carrots
  • 70 grams through
  • 50 grams of onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon mixture of dried herbs of your choice (basil, oregano, thyme, marjoram)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 grains of allspice
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 40 milliliters of water or milk
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs - optional
  • sour cream for serving - optional
  • 15 grams of frying oil (or other fat)
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation :
Peel and grate half an onion and a clove of garlic, add them to the minced meat. Then add salt and pepper to taste, dry spices. Pour the milk, which you can mix with a spoonful of breadcrumbs.

Knead the minced meat and form small balls from it.

Pour the water or broth into a suitable saucepan and place on the hob. Add the washed rice and let it boil for 10 minutes (until semi-cooked).

Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables: peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes, cut the leeks into semicircles, grate the carrots or also cut them into cubes.

Melt the butter in a suitable pan and fry the remaining onions and leeks in it for about 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Of course, you can use oil or olive oil.

Add the potatoes, carrots, leeks and onions to the semi-finished rice. When the water boils again, put the minced meatballs, bay leaf, allspice and let everything cook for about 10 minutes (until all the products are ready). Close the container with a lid and reduce the temperature to a minimum.

Mash the second clove of garlic and mix with the chopped parsley. Add the combination to the soup, turn off the stove and leave with the lid closed for about 10 minutes.

You can serve with sour cream.

Enjoy your meal!
