Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, add the lentils, boil and drain when ready. In another bowl pour olive oil, heat it and fry finely chopped onions, carrots, tomatoes, peppers.
Stir, add the lentils, chickpeas, nuts, garlic and season with chopped cherries and parsley. Stir, add salt, pepper, paprika and savory.
Pour water, reduce the power of the stove and let the dish simmer on low heat. Pour in portions and serve the soup warm, garnished with a sprig of mint.
